Asus Pt6 deluxe with Bios mod, asus slic, asus cert, asus key win7 ultimate = Genuine validated at microsoft.com/Genuine
Thats right, keep posting those screenshots complete with product keys and hashes and IDs and what the result was. The more details the better. Microsoft will be grateful as they merrily write everything down, tag it accordingly, and add it to their signature database for everyones enjoyment later on.
ok if you change your key over and over again it will eventually tell you no good no matter what you try doing... to fix that if it happens just install the key you want. rearm windows then reboot, it will show you the activate now window click ask me later then you should be good....
Hello RemoveWAT 2.2.4 toasted and it stopped installing half way through the progress bar informing me after a system request that it did not have permission to alter one of the dynamic link libraries files. Heavy s**t if MS is changing file permissions. ON a brighter note DAZ loader validate on a pure untouched ultimate OS 64. Lucklily I have a few keys but thats not the point and never was for reverse engineering. Best of luck everyone on soft mods DAZ so far is untouched but that can change I am sure and probably will. Cheers
What data is collected? To help you validate your software, Genuine Microsoft Software tools must collect a certain amount of configuration and status information from your computer. The tools do not collect your name, address, e-mail address, or any other information that Microsoft will use to identify you or contact you. The tools collect information such as: ■Computer make and model ■Version information for the operating system and software ■Region and language settings ■A unique number assigned to your computer by the tools (Globally Unique Identifier or GUID) ■Product Key (hashed) and Product ID ■BIOS name, revision number, and revision date ■Hard drive volume serial number (hashed) ■Whether the installation was successful if one was performed ■The result of the validation check, including error codes and information about any activation exploits and any related malicious or unauthorized software found or disabled, including: ◦The activation exploit’s identifier ◦The activation exploit's current state, such as cleaned or quarantined ◦Original equipment manufacturer identification ◦The activation exploit’s file name and hash of the file, as well as a hash of related software components that may indicate the presence of an activation exploit ■The name and a hash of the contents of the computer's start-up instructions file (commonly called the boot file) to help us discover activation exploits that modify this file. As standard procedure, your Internet Protocol (IP) address is temporarily logged when your computer connects to a Genuine Microsoft Software website or server. Taken from microsoft geniun website
@phazor, I reckon M$ already have all that info now uploaded to their server, the moment this tool was run o the PC?
Yes may be you are right, but I don't think that the big $MS$, with big number of programmers, are here to spy a small, home-user of windows. May be, but mods of this forum can delete all critical informations.
hi Patrik This is not a small problem with a small amount of home users. This is a very big problem fo MS with millions of users home or otherwise. Cheers
@NeptuneMystic Did you uninstall the pre-release and reinstall from online at Microsoft? Give it a go if you have not. Cheers
This forum is hardly insignificant; Google anything to do with activation bypasses, loaders or other workaround keywords and MDL is always in the top three. Thinking they don't read these forums is naive, while thinking they do is...well...is it paranoid if they really are out to get you? I've said it before but it bears repeating: why the big rush to update anyhow? I mean, sure, we need some people to do it to gather information about this monster, but relax folks...
Yup I was referring to you I tried a few methods and all failed with the online but then went to untouched OS for a reinstall and I am genuine once again. Yay Hope you get your problem sorted. Cheers
May be. But thats not the point. The point is they were passing as legitimate when they should not have passed. So a Microsoft employee reading this thread now has all the details to trace back the system(s) in question, check its signature, and tag it accordingly. In some cases they even know what particular method the user in question used to fool the activation, which is of course a nice extra bonus. Result? A fresh new entry in the still learning signature DB. The rest is shall we say 'obvious'...
They would be stupid not to monitor the responses here as it gives them valuable info they couldnt get otherwise. So rest assured they have their people who keep their radars pointed at this site...
Well without the validation its not genuine right? I had this also got stuck in the rut of system genuine but failed the online validation. Again fresh install and bingo all is well online and off. Dunno what your OS is or how many days it takes to install your stuff but for me well I am just testing this out to see what I can for what its worth to me. Cheers
