just a question. Do you think it might be because when I ran the wat update I had a dell 2.1 and an hp 1.0 slic bios mod. One so I could have windows xp activated and windows 7 at the same time. Would that have screwed it up?

Also do I have to reinstall windows 7 to revalidate it?

At present you have a gigabyte slic, can check which version you have.

 

Well I tried reflashing with a different modded bios with a gigabyte slic after my system was invalidated. Then I tried to go back to the mod with the dell 2.1 slic.

 

okay wait. you flash the one with the dell mod. then you need to install he DELL cert then use the matching key. did you manually install the dell cert after flashing? you need that

 

I had used the dell cert originally when I activated windows 7. Then when it said I was invalid I tried flashing a new bios mod with a gigabyte slic so then I applied the gigabyte cert and it still wasnt able to activate so I went back to using a dell slic that someone in this post had made for me and tried again with the dell slic but it doesn't activate. I was just wondering though if microsoft looked and saw that I had an hp 1.0 slic and a dell 2.1 slic both in the bios at the time I ran the wat update.

I was comparing his screenshot with the mgadiag report, the pkey was the first to fall on my eyes.

honestly i would reinstall windows BUT USE A GOOD iso from one listed here at mdl no where else. ill bet there is something else going on there

 

Just don't panic, the toolkit screenshot looks fine. Check if the sppsvc is running or not.

 

I got my iso from microsoft its labeled this 7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD with a crc of 0x1F1257CA
