What is your decision?: I passed the validation test, so I leave the WAT update on my PC..... Or: I passed the validation test, but I will uninstall the WAT service just to be safe?
O.K well that answers my question sh*t sh*t sh*t i thought I was going to get 7 a easy way or something
Did a clean dutch ultimate install in vmware to test some things and the same file gives a file mismatch there. Could it be that the dutch install.wim is corrupted? I didn't see that file appear in other's mgediag log. Can someone else with dutch windows check this pleas? It's an untouched msdn iso.
It really was a dutch dvd, 100% shure, and I noticed that the file doesn't actually exist, or are there localized versions of mgadiag and am I using the wrong version?
Here is a hypothetical question. Someone decides to buy a used computer running Windows 7 but before the purchase runs WAT and Microsoft validates Windows as genuine. The purchase is made and 90 days later WAT deactivates Windows. Would the buyer have recourse against both the seller and Microsoft?
If you can simply prove that it is legit, ex. show M$ your product key to their support line then yes they will have to legally do something about it. I would not go to the place of purchace but go directly to M$ and tell them.
Yea that is mostly true but just like the old days of WGA that flagged legal copies as pirated I would bet that WAT may do the same thing as they already have for ppl who have G-Data AV/IS, same thing goes for a specific OEM company although I can't remember which one.
But i think in the future it will be nessesary to be able to dynamically insert slic2.1 Table to all biose. This will be at least the Method which will produce "genuine" Solutions. so i think about an hardware Update because my old Asus P4P800 Se is locked to good for me to hack. The Automatic Method fails - so i used the SSV3 Method. (the P5K and P5Q is good for the dynamic automatic method- so before i'm buying the Win 7 i prefer to upgrade my Board
