I'm looking out the windows (got the joke?) and until now my sky isn't falling. Everything seems to be there like the days before. So please: if you have facts, discuss (and there are known facts). But please be careful with theories of one person. They may be interesting or sound reasonable but this doesn't mean they are true. I'll leave this thread open as it works like a vent for all the WAT panic pressure that builds up
Yeah right...and how many different hardware hashes this will result in? Billions? Can they distinguish the genuine and non-genuine using this hashes, i do not think so.... and btw i do not know if you ever ran MGAdiag somewhere in the last (few) years...this HWID has been there for quite some time What will happen if you change a piece of hardware, will it change the HWID hash and turn it into a non-genuine state? Get real...never gonna happen!
yeah right.look at any oem. take dell. you call and order a pc for ONE MODEL they have how many different options and config's?? each will yield a diff machine id. so it could be in the millions right there. now take the repairs a tech comes out and swaps the burned up mobo. boom another machine id hash. this could and up somewhere in the trillions etc... no way not ever going to happen
The best part... "As standard procedure, your Internet Protocol (IP) address is temporarily logged when your computer connects to a Genuine Microsoft Software website or server. These logs are routinely deleted." Hehe....
There is nothing about the sky....I guess the developer of loaders, bios mod techniques don't look to the sky...lol I guess most of those guys Daz, andyp, Hazar Yen........ who are involved in creating methods (programms or mods) already have a legit license coz they are computer enthusiasts (at least MSDN serials)..they don't care........I guess it's a sort of contest to them and fun....they want to learn about and beat M$....it's a challenge and they grow with each attempt.....also the biosmodder come and go..sooner or later they are losing interest, only the hard cored are staying....only the requester of a mod / user of a loader is interested (besides to beat M$) in a free copy of W7... Just my 2 cents...
I have two upgrade kits and the ultimate retail sitting here but I just want to see how the oem's lie about the hardware that was used like my motherboard In another model that has slic 2.1 on it that why I did it that why ms cant tag a modd bios Foxconn (Bengal) RS780 Motherboard
Point well taken. I was however, primarily referring to the closing mentions in your writing; certainly not to the ones in front holding lit torches.
