Any1 help me install the ATI driver plz, i tried to install it but it stuck on INSTALLING COMPONENT, it keep running , I waited for 30 minute and it still not finish installing. btw my graphic is INTEGRATED GRAPHIC( Intel HD Graphic). I don't have ATI or VNIDIA Card, but can I still install ATI driver?
CAN ANYONE HELP ME???? I installed Windows 8 Developer Preview, 32-bit (clean install)... My monitor is a 21-inch LCD... The maximum resolution that my screen supports is 1600 X 900, but Windows 8 shows a maximum resolution of only 1280 X 720... I tried to install Intel Chipset and Graphics Accelerator drivers, but i get an error message 'Not supported on Windows NT version 6.2"... How can I fix this resolution problem???
In Windows 8, go to system > advanced system settings > , under Startup and Recovery > settings, change default OS, time to display list of OS to 0 second.
Make sure you have .NET Framework 3.5.1 installed from add or remove Windows components, Intel Graphics and Chipset drivers require .NET 3.5.1 in order to install and function properly. You could also try running the drivers in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
I don't know where you're getting that from, but I didn't have to install .net 3.5.1 for my intel graphics, it grabbed the driver right from MS update, no problem. BTW when a program does call for that framework, it automatically prompts you and then launches Add/Remove Features and downloads and installs it from MS update.
.NET 3.5.1 was installed on my system, still the driver installer gave the error "NT 6.2 unsupported" (even after trying Win 7 compatibilty mode!)... And the drivers still don't show up in Windows Update in Windows 8, while they always did in Windows 7!
If you are online, go to system > device manager, right click that driver > update driver software > Search automatically for updated driver software..., see if that helps.
For me,update drivers from online has not work, not either in w7..tell's in all time'' windows has determined ..."and I have old drivers designed for vista.Only i can do after windows instalation is to put my cd drivers in optical unit...and choose if install in compatibility mode or with device manager...
Finally, I just installed WDP 8102 today. I think I am the last one to install it. LOL. I was very busy these days, so I did not get time. I have a question: I have a "local account" now, if I Switched to a Windows Live ID should I be connected to the internet every time I log into Windows??
No, you only need to be connected to Internet when creating the LiveID account on your machine, but you obviously won't profit from the Syncing if you never connect to the internet making the LiveID account useless
