    sorry for my bad English first
    1. Metro ui app isnt work at 1024x600 resolution
    2. My D4 had Wide monitor and its 1024x600 resolution
    3. so i want use metro app in 1024x600 resolution
    4. WoW! I found one link no reg hack!, no metro hack! just run it!
    5. HOW!
    6. HOW!!! OTL
    7. anyone know how it can possible at 1024x600 resolution metro app runing
    its My question

    1. Open Regedit
    2. Hit CTRL+F to open the search box
    3. Search for Display1_DownScallingSupported and change its DWORD value to 1
    4. Exit Regedit and restart your PC.
    5. Go to Screen Resolution and choose from additional resolutions available.

    After switching back to 1024x600 I am able to switch between and start suspended programs but I can't open new ones...
    IE is working fine with the low resolution.

    but my D4 no need regedit setting for use 1024x768 resolution, just can select It
    MY question is "HOW WE CAN RUN METRO UI APP IN 1024x600 Resolution"
    5inc monitor is too small
    if i used over 1024x600 resolution, I cant read any word in monitor:eek:

    You have to Start the Apps, then you are able to use them in 1024x600

    What does this mean? I believe you can only run Metro Apps on 1024x768 and above. With 1024x600, you can only run desktop apps and the metro control panel. Unless there is a new tweak for that or you need to disable/enable something..

    It is possible to run Metro Apps in 1024x600, without tweaks :)
    IE is working fine, the Weather App is too large for the screen...

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

    I just ran slmgr.vbs /dlv on the x64 version with the Developer tools and noticed this.

    1) Set all occurrences of Display1_DownScalingSupported in regedit to 1
    2) Reboot
    3) Set resolution to 1024x768 or larger
    4) Start some metro apps
    5) Set resolution back (1024x600)
    6) Enjoy metro apps in 1024x600 (you can only use apps, which were started in 1024x768)
