Understood. What relevancy regarding activation do the findings presented entail (as related to the topic)? Hey, I'm just curious. Beat me up if that's what you want to do. I'm OK with that.
If you know where they in are in 7955 you can copy all the bitmaps to the appropriate folder in 8102 and use them that way! That's what I did with Win7 user bitmaps , copied them from one machine to another with a usb stick ..
It's just new strings! You can read em and make conclusions? Like for example "Activate to personalize" so some stuff will be locked without a Activation (but i think Trial counts as Activation as well, if not then the Endless trial tricks won't do much good)
Anyone know how to turn off the smartscreen file rep system? Its in action center-Security, the radio button turn off can be selected but it just goes back to the middle setting. Dont want no ms telling me what file's good for me.
Never mind. I checked in gpedit and smartscreen is still being showed as a placeholder, so still a wip.
anyone managed to get wwa to run with EnableLUA set to 0? if I use EnableLUA 0 wwahost.exe exit without any message for all wwa.
A Question: I made a VHD Installation of WDP. But while I was booting my PC, I had to wait 1-2 minutes to select an OS. Can I delete the WDP without affecting Windows 7? (Or, Can I switch to the old Boot Manager ? (Windows 7 Boot Manager)) Sorry for my bad English.
You have to first delete the Windows 8 partition. But then you must boot into a Windows 7 disk and restore the bootloader. Otherwise when you boot your computer it just shows a WDP boot screen that trys to repair itself and does not load the OS chooser.
How to format? Deleting the VHD file? Or, Removing boot entry w/ a cmd command? ------------------------------------------------------------ OK, thanks. But how to restore boot loader?
I can't seems to drag to rearrange tabs in Chrome, it just wants to pop out the tab into a new window every time :/
The user tiles from other windows are in windows\winsxs, I created a new folder called user tiles, copy all user tiles to that folder, and selected user tile from that folder.
You should already have a User Tiles folder inside your User Folder by default, unless that was created when I synced it to my live acct.
Apparently, if you launch Immersive IE, then open normal IE, it will display the same webpage. But it's clearly a lie since I already tried it, Did this work for anyone? Or is it just a lie?
I reinstalled, so when I set up sync the second time it actually automatically downloaded and placed my User Tile from the first install into that folder. I just mentioned it since you said you created a folder, rather than copying the files into the folder I mentioned. I am not sure if the folder is there by default or gets created when you sync to a Live acct.
