Has anyone ever had this problem? Windows 10 seems to function fine even with that. I see it when its just starting to boot with the HP logo. It flashes then I get the line for a few seconds then it gos to the blue screen then the login screen. Enter my pin and it finishes going to desktop. Should I worry about this?
Possibly you are on a c2duo Intel machine? Some of them have a known bug that does artifacts if the RAM is not in dual channel and the VT IO functions are enabled on the BIOS. Solution disable VT IO functions or use matched RAM modules eg 2x2GB <---(must be identical), instead of 1x4GB
I am using a under clocked i3 with 6gb of ram I will turn it off as I was just testing out windroye with it. My laptop came this way. I plan on at somepoit maxing it out when ever cruial can detect what the max amount of ram should be.
Turned off VT and still get the artifacts only started after upgrading to windows 10 pro build 10565. I kept failing to get into bios because I was not pressing the f10 key fast enough as it was booting turned it off about 3 times till I got into bios and turned VT on then it had the automatic repair come up then I told it to finish booting then I noticed the artifacts that are there everytime I reboot now. Should I go back to previous build if its possible since I upgraded to pro after installing this build or just wait for the next build to see if it fixes everything when TH2 is out if I can upgrade to it?
thanks for letting me know I'll just wait for the next build then to come to me in windows updates from the fast ring since this is just a machine that I just use with bluestacks mostly.
So, no. You shouldn't be affected by that problem it's a c2duo chipset only problem. (and Simple07 message confirms)
I would updae to build 10568 but dont want to be locked out of the offical build from the insider fast ring.
Each one has it's habits. Personally I don't care about the insider things given I can download the ISO each time i like, w/o having to mess with MS accounts, and also being able to clean the images from the crap before installing them.
