MS does not recommend build to build upgrades. 'The reality is that upgrading from one pre-release build to another is not a scenario we want to focus on because it is not something real-world customers will experience. During development we introduce changes in the product (under the hood) that aren’t always compatible with what we call “build-to-build” upgrade. The supported upgrade scenario is from Windows Vista to Windows 7' Right from the words of Sinofsky himself. So don't be surprised if stuff doesn't function or work.
I've upgraded every leaked build from 7000 up to 7077 on one machine and done fresh installs of the same builds on another machine; and I haven't had ANY issues on the upgraded machine that I haven't had on the clean machine. Also, nothing has been any quicker on the clean machine than the upgraded one. For once, it seems MS got the in-place upgrade stuff working very well!
I would download the program "who crashed" and analyze your crash dumps, though I don't think there is a symbols file available for Windows 7 yet. You will want to post this on the official Windows 7 forums, there is something seriously wrong with your setup. I would run a full hardware scan first just to make sure you are fine, but this looks like a bug that needs to be reported to the dev team. I would also try loading chipset drivers too, those might help.
I think my hardware is good and it's a bug in system. Know I'm using build 7022 and it works fine. I was post this problem on sevenforums.com yesterday and no answer.
