You'd check your next credit card bill... maybe it's just for testing purposes and you won't even get charged the $2.
I know curley, looks like microsoft is charging 2 dollars for a generic CD-Key, probably figured people would try to get a free copy by signing up for the insiders and thus made a little cash over new installers like myself. The offer was legitimately from microsoft at least so we don't have to worry at least.
It is absolutely stupid to charge for a generic key that proberly won't work with the RTM they are not crazy just money makers
Its legitimately an offer direct from Micosoft but the key you buy is a generic key that is avaible online
Endbase the key WILL work RTM, Insiders will be updated to RTM and Windows 10 will remain activated so long as you continue to be in the Insiders program
Yeah that is what I mean by stupid oke it works as long you are an insider But i'm not crazy as windows 10 hits RTM i'm out of the insider program !! Even if it will cost me a few bucks
But so will the free insiders keys lol Basically you bought something that is 100% free for anyone in the insiders program, even people not in the program
Ok a call to Microsoft Sales cleared this up, there is actually no charge, the amount there is just to put it on the store, activation is free and you won't be charged so even though it says 2 dollars, its actually not charging your account
Haha what a way to test an system normaly there would be information about it in the store about not charging the 2 bucks but nice to here
Question is why they didn't put it on the Store as "Free" for the time being. Those $2 are just confusing people.
