Hello, i tried to search on google, but can't find answer. I checked stickied topics and same, can't find anything that answers my question.

So i have an msi 785gm-e51 and i found many modded bios, but i don't know what is the difference with original bios.

Can someone explain me or give me a link if i missed it.

    Thanks in advance.

Edit Sorry for fail title, i mean what IS a modded bios ?

    Hi,

We were all newbies once. Below is a quote taken from this thread (which you should read to get an understanding of Bios Mods.)

    http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/819-Completely-new-to-BIOS-technology-Read-here-first!

"BIOS modding is useful for several things. You can improve your computers perfomance, take great influence on things going on...The thing we are most related to is “this” BIOS modding meaning a hardware workaround for Windows Activation.Instead of using software solutions, you just write in the bios “Hey, everything is correct. You (Windows) may run on that machine!”
