    Hello friends.

I am currently running a Windows 10 x64 pro for workstations edition. It's on Supermicro motherboard , 128gb ram and 2 server processors. Since Windows 10 is no longer updated I want to migrate onto the next supported version. All I want is to continue receiving an updates and security patches. Would somebody please recommend what would be the best option to update is it possible to keep programs and files in place or will I have to reformat and reinstall?

    Thank you!

Windows 10 is currently receiving security updates until October 2027, and will probably be supported beyond that.

But as I can see from your screenshot, you haven't requested updates yet. Why?

Oh that's a different situation then. Enroll to ESU then you'll get 1 year more updates.

With your Supermicro motherboard , 128gb ram and 2 server processors you should be running Windows Server version to utilize full potential of your Supermicro Server.

I have an HPE Proliant Gen11 Server. Same stats 128gb ram and 2 Intel Platinum 8480+ processors and am running Server 2022 DataCenter AzureEdition. No sense running anything but Server OS
