That appears to be same thing I downloaded yesterday, to much work to try again, will wait for standalone ISO release, thanks anyway
Oh God, after I caved, saw standalone ISO was ready, so installed that, man it was smooth. So now I am sitting on a inner tube perplexed.
Use the free EasyBCD from Neowin.net. I installed my Win 8.1 Release Preview on a separate partition on a USB External Drive (WTG process using Windows AIK). Instead of doing the last step of doing a "bcdboot" I just used EasyBCD to add the new installation and I was able to dual boot into it. Win 8 on Primary Partition, Win 8.1 the next over.
I only found 1 differece between them: On the MS official iso, you cannot add drivers to the image, but on the non-official iso you can.
