Check RAM FSB with your mobo max. supported RAM FSB you can find that in your mobo specs. Try reseting BIOS, should help, if it was bad SPD(or how that thing is called) settings that prevents BIOS from booting.
all as i know it came with 3gb ram @ddr3 8500S i removed the 1gb module and replaced it with 2gb ddr3 10600S how do i reset bios on this model sony vaio VPCEE2E1E i have no idea??
should be written in the manual it supports 1066 as written in the specs haven't found manual in quick search, there's no instructions on how to do that in recovery manual.
