    synching 501657 (2.2 TB) files of all kinds on three different locations, prepping for a raid5 to raid0 conversion of my redundant storage...(must exist a simpler way...:aglerks:)

    Clarification:
    The plan is to use three units: 1 ) a 3GB USB disk, 2 ) Raid A and, 3 ) Raid B. Both Raid A and Raid B consists of 4 one TB drives.
    When I have an exact copy of the data on all three I drop one raid and remake it in to Raid0. Then I copy all data over to this new Raid0, and proceed with the next Raid. Then I will always have one functional Raid + USB backup. This will allow for about 4TB data storage, limited to 3TB temporarily.

    Final setup is one Raid always synching to the other, with USB drive as reserve backup. All over my GB lan.
