I have an' 06 Dodge Magnum SRT8. It's silver and somewhat non-descript. I prefer to not be noticed until I've already passed someone and they go: "WTF was that?"
Well, if you do buy it, come back and post a picture here It is nice to be discreet for many reasons ... photo please Images speak louder than text
1979 Z-28 Had since 1984 .. with a Brodix AL Small Block Chevy 4.125 bore 4.25" stroke crank (454 CID)... 6 inch Oliver rods. AFR High Port 215 Heads and a custom cam .625" int and .665" exh 240degrees dur @.050 intake and 252Degrees @.050 exh Lobe separation is a wide 115degrees Steel roller rockers 1.65 ratio. Diamond forged pistons with 9:1 compression. 9.227(actually) to take the average of the heads CC chambers and the compressed gasket thickness and the close .05" piston to deck height.( Squench is your friend) Single Procharger F3 I am replacing my useless single Blow OFF valve with a dual 44mm as I experience Boost creep with the F3 over 4,000 revs..WHY F3? so I can have boost in the lower revs.(MISTAKE)The converter only stalls up to 2500 if I dont Stomp the throttle.(Better MPG WTF?) I try to limit boost to 18 PSI (still not very useable without larger slicks) limited by my fuel injectors to about that anyhooo ..>165lb injectors are is available but I want to LIVE... (YEAH only 18 and YES I could have used a F1 but whats done is done.).. on E85 and methanol injection(TY Snow Boost). With VP 116?? who knows but its expensive. HP??? I have no clue... the "F" Bomb Camaro hit about 1500 with less boost and a smaller displacement. Practicality? ZERO ... I have lost a casual race due to lack of traction even from a 75 MPH roll on 10.5 Hoosier slicks( 10ish PSI). Iwill have the boost limited to 6-7 psi but for now it will creep quickly until I install the dual 44mm set up... never need more ... its insanely useless with out a ton of suspension mods.. Lesson learned .. Less is More and a lot cheaper.
yes it is the 3L but it has 212 horses under the bonnet....It's no traffic light racer but i have seen the wrong side of 150mph....shhhhhhhhh.
OK, just so people here know what we are on about +1000 Agree. Still 0-60 in 8 secs ain't bad for a heavy car. My pug can do the same but weights something like 900KG. Personally I am more concerned about handling rather than straight line speed. I just think its more fun
I am 87 years of age and have 2 older cars still running. No pics but one is a 1975 BMW model 2002 which was a good low price car before it became a rich guys toy.The other is a 2001 Chev Malibu with a 3.1 L big 6.Both still used nearly everyday.I get a big kick of passing BMW onour highways.
From what I ve read, the 2002 was a fun car to drive. And to be honest I wouldn't care of what other people think of the car I am driving - as long as it satisfies me... @ dabits ^ ... dareckibmw I would have thought
A Honda Civic 2001 Sedan, expect to upgrade to an Si version but the gas price is too high in my country
@ dabits ^ ... dareckibmw I would have thought [/QUOTE]Mine is silver grey no A/C 4speed stick shift also no radio in those days.Cost me $5500 CA.
..... Mine is silver as well with black interior, 6speed manual, with Dinan performance chip, yes....it goes faster then 255km/h, lol In almost 10 years of ownership an E39 it still gives me a goose bumps when I am getting on the highway what a rush
If I am not mistaken, the Si is a 1.6lt / 160HP? It's just amazing that only Honda can pull out all that power from naturally aspirated engines. Having said that - I was lucky enough to drive this (just a month ago). The sound of VTEC is simply exhilarating Hehe, I would have thought so. A/C is gone in my car as well this summer ( one pipe is leaking R134 ) ... but I never really bothered fixing it. Busy enjoying driving makes one forget all in-car 'luxuries' What I really like about your car is that it is a big family saloon; yet is capable of giving you a thrill when you need it. It's kind of like a doctor's prescription for speed addicts
Actually I was aiming for a 2007 Si sedan 2.0 197HP 6th speed gearbox, but that plan will have wait a little
I was initially aiming for a CR-X Si when I was looking for a car last year. It was either that Honda or the pug. I finally went for the pug, as I was unable to find a mint CR-X. Even the latest '92 models had their faces literally ripped-off by their idiotic owners. I can't say I have any regrets though. Although the pug lacks in power compared to the CR-X - it makes up in handling, which is just superb
Acura RSX Type-S - K24 Bottom end with K20 Top end. Has 6-speed trans.. its my daily driver and has a pretty decent get up and go, while still being extremely reliable with every creature comfort (power options, leather, etc) except AC (had to pull it out to fit the mods)
