As far as fuel cost per mile (according to my limited analysis - attached) Electric cars are cheaper for fuel at the end of 2017, naturally this can change. I didn't factor in the cost of a additional meter, service & charger additional costs. Spoiler *if anyone sees any error in my calks please let me know. Edit: Where my kWh came from: https://www.edmunds.com/fuel-economy/the-true-cost-of-powering-an-electric-car.html Moloughney's ActiveE has an energy consumption rate of 33 kWh per 100 miles: less efficient than the Leaf's 29 kWh/100m. But the ActiveE also has 170 horsepower versus the Leaf's 107.
No, they do not say that... ...unless you wanna leave your brains outside the debate room, of course - and just use the proverbial political guns in a political gun-slininging match...
Yeah, Zweistein, "at risk" means "everyone will be dead", sure... See who needs "studying" elementary logic...
Sorry Katzenfreund I have gotten a little carried away with my last few posts and took this a little off topic. I have edit my posts. Again I apologize
˄˄ My friend, you’re neither the first, nor the last to drive a topic beyond its nominal boundary, something which I myself have been guilty of doing on occasions. And I’ve also noticed that mods tend to take no action, if it’s not done to excess. But it’s nice of you to apologize.
At the Geneva International Motor Show 2018, Rimac presents the world debut of the C_Two. Designed by Rimac’s in-house team and made entirely from scratch with all-new, groundbreaking technologies, this car represents the next generation hypercar. 1,914 hp create incredible acceleration of 0-60 mph in 1,85* sec and 0-300 km/h in 11,8* sec. An innovative battery pack in technology and layout delivers 120 kWh energy and 1.4MW of power. As a true Grand Tourer the C_Two provides a generous 650 km NEDC range. Recognisable Rimac design DNA integrates a variety of aerodynamic features. With level 4 ready hardware on-board this is one of the smartest and most connected cars in the world. It is, quite literally, alive with technology. Discover the new Rimac C_Two: http://www.rimac-automobili.com/en/ #Rimac #GimsSwiss #GIMS2018 *one foot rollout
http://evadoption.com/stat-of-the-w...harging-stations-versus-gas-stations-evs-win/ Stat of the Week: Comparing the Ratio of EV Charging Stations Versus Gas Stations – EVs Win Ratio of EVs to EV Charging Stations is 14 Times Better Than Auto to Gas Station Ratio In the US today there are approximately 270 million automobiles and an estimated 150,000 gas stations. While I could not find any reliable numbers to support this, I’m using an estimate that an average of 8 pumps are available at any given time for concurrent refueling at a typical modern gas station. Dividing 270 million autos by 1,200,000 pumps = a ratio of 225 autos per available pump. https://electrek.co/2018/03/05/audi-e-tron-quattro-all-electric-prototypes-geneva/ First for Audi...

Emotions are one thing and reality is another thing. There is no technology available to make batteries that are usable for electric cars; we can not forget, that these accelerations (what are posted above) are impossible, because everything is determined by the frictional force (between car tires and road). Only a jet engine helps.
Oil is finite, sorry to break the news. Sunshine is finite too...in another billion years. Just like when the newly-fangdangled-automobiles appeared. People riding horses would not/could not comprehend the impact. People who are touting "never going electric, combustion is the only way" sound just like the horse riders of the past! TQQdles™
