If something is needed to save the planet, there must be no choice, or (at least) the polluting options should be made so inconvenient, that even an idiot like the one above will be forced to be respectful to the planet. Theese kind of people may refuse any logic, but still understand the money very well, just make the gasoline expensive and the problem is solved

This is the role of governments and international organzations.

I good idea in theory but not reality. Not really green when I think of all the extra pollutants going up in the air from extra work load the power stations are pumping to keep up demands, let alone the manufacture of the batteries and transportation of the batteries even before they go into the finished cars. Then there is mining for copper ,cobalt , lead etc.. not all that environmental is it??
Then there are charging waiting times, rather fill up diesel or petrol and be on my way.
I call bs on the whole experiment.

Yeah, it's surely a problem to transport a battery that need to be installed/replaced once or twice in the life of a car.

Better to move gasoline that needs to be refilled once or twice a week:Albert:. :roflmao:

Seriously why not turn on a couple of neurons when reading (and parroting) the fascist propaganda? It's absolutely free

it seems that insurance prices are rising and not only in my country.
so, unless you rich as Elon Musk, prefer to pay up to 250$ per month
and, also, now I know what they prepared for us

you will have to pay the electricity bill (they raise it slowly ...)
and when you arrive at the `test` time, you will have to pay by mile
    an automatic system will calculate, 2025 X 2026 Y -
& you will have to pay for X KM

& another issue that will come soon
battery now cost a lot, they are not cheap anymore
and other EV parts are expensive too
so you will end up, taking this EV car to the garbage
or fix it & pay ... a lot ... it will not come in the first years,
but will come after 5-8 years

So you have to be rich as Bill Gates to buy one today.
The cars alone are expensive, Electricity, Insurance, By Mile per year.
    & parts \ battery i mention before

there are 2 ways 2 pay. you pay less now and pay a big prize later
you pay now full amount, and later you save
if you buy an EV car, you are f*** twice,
    it's expensive & you pay later full D*** ( S & M ) :D

    Come on!

Stop crying like a child, about imaginary problems.

No one force you to be an early adopter TODAY.

It's true for Win11, for electric cars, for electric cigarettes or whatever else.

There is (in theory) a 10 years transition timeframe, which likely will be 15/20 years one.

A lot of things can happen in 10/15 years.

We went from never sending anything in space to putting a foot on the moon in less than 12 (Twelve) years.

My internet connection speed (over a cellular line) went from 9200 bps in 1998 to 3Mbps in 2007 (326 times faster in NINE years).

Gasoline cars went from being experimental tricycles at the end of 1800 to The Ford model T (sold in 16,5 millions of cars) in 1915.

Just direct your frustration elsewhere, instead of spreading misinformation.

    you don't like facts.
that this will be a car for rich people only.

    that reminds me,
a lot of truck drivers have replace to Diesel fuel-based trucks
now Diesel fuel costs more than gasoline fuel
they ware thinking, we saving money. governments say it

I think it will not be the car of the future
it's just a step, for something else, that you could say about it -
it saves money, and is environment friendly

Considering All of Brandon's "Successes" since being appointed as Resident, Bat'd suggest waiting at least 50-60 years before considering buying an EV in Merica :g: By then either The Chinese or Islamic Jihadist will be in charge so Bat investing in Donkey and Goats

Before Bidenomics Bat could afford to have a house in Merica and pay all the bills with his Social Security. A second Retirement house's bills in The Philippines bills were easily paid with other investments. Sometimes it was tight but mostly no problems. Now Bat is having to use his other Retirement income to help pay Merican bills and can't afford to travel like he wants :(
Bat was trying to save up enough to buy hisself a Toyota Hilux  4x4 with the diesel engine they're expensive even in a 3rd world country :( But talk about Indestructible :fear2: Now @darkie got Bat thinking IF Trump:wub: can turn the economy around before he gets much older, Bat will get a Hilux  then build a mount in the bed to shoot him hairspray powered potato gun

So first you had problems because EV are expensive, now you have problems because they are cheaper?

Bat must agree with himself :D

Bat friend bought himself this Beast last week to make short grocery runs. Better be short cause it does like 12 mph for a range UP TO 12 miles.

Said he was Brave parking it that close to his house even if his house is concrete filled blocks. Then Bat thought, He's in The Philippines, it's Not like they have electricity very often :p

Electric cars still haven't evolved enough for me to buy one, do they still use oil based lube on bearings and such or do they now use Crisco LOL
