I think there is nothing to clean up here as this thread wasn't meant to promote any constructive conversation in any way. That's why many people (including myself) preferred to joke about it. There is nothing wrong with that. As the title suggests it's purely all about guessing about something that's non critical to the OS (whatever it will be called) anyway.

In my opinion the only reason that this thread is not under Chit Chat is because we already have a Windows 8 sub-forum. Don't you agree

Even the phone stuff is called Windows Phone 7 so I dont think they will drop the windows EVER!!!, thats like apple dropping the letter i from their software

 

And how will a customer know if their Photoshop version will work with that version of Windows 8? Or which games will work on their tablets?

 

Take a look at the Windows logo. It was obviously the inspiration for Live Tiles. Thats why I believe that the new Windows 8 tablets will at least have one hardware button, a Start button that will take u to the new tiles screen.

I think it will be called Windows 8 and Windows Server 8 because in VMWare Workstation 8 it's also called "Windows Server 8".
