What happened to Ad Block Plus?

    Today I was reading our local newspaper and when I started looking through the obits I got a slew of ads all over the place. I read a while back where there was talk about Ad Block selling out to the advertisers. But today I deleted Ad Block Plus and installed UBlock and now the ads are gone. Did Ad Block really do that?

    that means you didn't ucheck the "allow some non-intrusive advertising" in the filter preferences of ABP

    Three machines with ABP, default settings. No ads popping up.

    Adguard is free and much lighter on resources than Adblock + and Adfender works a treat ;)

    I've installed AdBlock Plus on many PCs and had no issues till date. One of the best add-on I used for browser.
