After taking some time off (years) from coding as a hobby I discover today that the Tools for Visual Studio now require a valid Visual Studio license. At least that's what it says in the download description (on the the page's bottom). In such case, downloading this behemoth may not do me any good. Can someone save me some time and clarify what's going on? Please don't tell me there's no way to use the tools now unless you've bought their IDE (license)...
