I have seen a few requests for Intel motherboards to be modded with an Intel bios. Such as D945 series. Normally these requests do not even get a response of any kind.

Is an Intel bios just hard or impossible to mod? If they can be done what tools are used? I would like to look into doing a few. If they cant be done then somebody please tell me/us so and we can stop asking.

    Thanks

There is no real way of decompressing them accurately. Even with Everest it seems that putting the slic license information into the bios is beyond normal means.

Only Intel with a AMI core can be mod.

Recent Intel BIOS's are rather specific, they use 32-bit code and... just no tools available, other than to mod DMI for XP activation.
