How to mod BIOS from SLIC 2.0 TO SLIC 2.1 version

That's the point. Windows 7 can only be activated using the OEM Certificate and OEM SLP key with a modded BIOS (perhaps BIOS SLIC 2.0 that are modded to SLIC 2.1).

Thanks for patching that up. Yeah, but I still kind of feel I took it the easy way around rather than actually getting the grease on my hands.

Nevertheless, I am still on a conquest to find downloadable BIOS files, preferrably SLIC 2.1 so I can actually brush up my knowledge on modding BIOS and flashing them to the motherboard.

If you don't list your Exact MB model, how can anyone tell you where to find the BIOS for it ???????
There are Many, Many Different model MB's made by ASUS.
Open your PC and read EXACTLY what it says on the MB.
That is the surest way to know your exact MB model and revision.

I know it kind of sounds complicated but it's really not.

When you download Windows 7 Loader, instead of saving it to your computer, just save it to your removable storage device location. It could be whatever USB or CD/DVD drive you plug your removable storage device in.
