There is a small upgrade in the air: I have unfortunately still to wait for my EK-Block's + Back-Plate's.
They are even @Stock and on Air not bad: I benched this morning again and here are the results: Log-File-Download: Click I used HWINFO64 v5.03-2600 (Beta) to create the Log-Files. DXDIAG: Click I used GPU-Tweak v1.0.2.4 in OC-Mode + Game-Booster activated and didn't adjust the Factory-Settings of the GPU's. Ran WinXP Pro on it for many years, thoroughly enjoying it running a stable Win7Pro64 nowadays. Am loving the 27" primary monitor (@ 1920 x 1080); paired with the 24" HP (@1920 x 1200) they give plenty of screen real estate compared to what we were used to @ home. Lookin' forward to researching & building a nice new Desktop PC when the need arises.. If I were looking around now I'd be considering a nice i7 CPU, an nVidia GTX 970 or something, some of that M2 SSD Storage goodness & an OK 34" monitor as the primary.. Mmmm. My every day box... small SSD but it's just used for trollin' and such. The SD card is 64GB and have a RAMdDsk of 3GB for media manipulation and playing TombRaider AoD. Battery lasts for a good 12 hours as I mostly have it set to maximum battery settings. Got a few more rigs for tors, storage and other stuff.... Love these ThinkPads.
I applied on Facebook for a Thermaltake-Giveaway and was really hoping to win some stuff for my wife, because as you know a happy wife will give you a happy life. As I never win stuff I didn't expect anything, but they contacted me today and asked for my details. That's really awesome, because we start to move end of the week and as our new place is not really cheap to rent too, I would have to delay some necessary upgrades / part-swaps of her rig. Here is what we / she will get: Bundled Prize: - Core P5: Click - Smart DPS G 750W: Click - Water 3.0 Performer C: Click - Riing RGB 3 Pack: Click
Lenovo Thinkpad w530 As convenient as laptops are, very few have usable keyboards. Thinkpads are the exception.
Well, right now I am doing the starving student bit so I just have an ultra-basic HP Stream 14 laptop with AMD A4-6400t APU and barely 2 Gigs of Ram. But hey, it serves me well for the moment. One day I'll get around to putting together a pc for gaming but with eco tendencies (what can I say, I'm an environmentalist).
Here are the specs of the computer I am using right now. It is the second Windows 7 computer I built in 2014.
