Hi everyone I need 5 posts in order to PM a member so this looks like a good thread to start with Euskera (Basque Language) Native language from Euskadi (Basque County, in the North of Spain) Spanish English Planning to start with German, although I'm feeling a bit old to learn a new language, we'll see... I always wanted to learn German and Suomi, both sound wonderful (should I say wunderbar? ) but I reckon I have better chances with the former. The latter looks like the kind of language that you either learn it as a kid or you're bound for failure...
I started to learn German because I'm a geologist, and geology as a science was born in Germany in 18th century. Before that, geology was understood as part of Natural Sciences (Naturalism). Go on !

I think that words like "Vaffan****" have become universal, nowadays I speak mainly Italian (mothertongue) and English. Barely simple German and Spanish sentences. I tried to learn German, but it was too hard for me. I want to learn Spanish, since I like it and I think that since it's a Romance language like Italian maybe I wouldn't have so many difficulties (although it surely needs constant studying and improving).
Well i can English and it is the best and easy language as it is an international language and i like to speak this language.
