Some really old hardware definitely won't run Win7. I had to dump a perfectly good SBLive 5.1 Digital soundcard as there is NO driver for this card for Win7/Vista. Too bad Win7 won't accept even XP drivers Now that's a nice oldie Win7 should hopefully be even better after SP1 rolls out. About time MS gets Windows right!

Most of the systems I have 7 running on are fairly typical, ranging from an older Athlon XP 3200+ 2GB to an 8GB quad. The oddball is a Samsung Q1 UMPC. 900Mhz, 512MB. It's actually not too bad, feels a little smoother than XP on it. Wellllllll smooth being relative, with 512MB it's going to be doing a lot of swapping with either one.. one of these years I need to add some memory to the little bugger, but I only use it for watching Netflix or reading books. And no, it won't play Crysis either. It has a hard time playing Solitaire.
I'm running enterprise on a Stinkpad T60, Centrino Duo 2ghz, 2gb ram, 75gb hard disk. On average my cpu's are using 50% (both) and my ram hovers around 85% in use. I have Windows7 Enterprise running on a few older dells at home that run quicker than this lenovo.
Thanks dude, it actually costed me quite a bit of money. My desktop is like 2 years old too lol. It is actually a beast compared to new stock computers.
Testing it on a Samsung R70 laptop; I have to run it without the Nvidia GFX drivers as it overheats and bluescreens if you use them.... It's a known problem with some versions of this laptop.
