    first time i went to the cinema with just my mates was to see jaws......I remeber when the eye ball fell down in the boat under water scene everybody jumped a mile and screemed..

    Yes ,i screemed like a litte girl too...

    Would have been in the early 1950's, when musicals and western movies were the most frequent. There have been so many since, that memory fades of which was the first.
