    Thks!

I use visual studio, unity, unreal and office a lot but no gaming at all.

According to other post, server 2016 uses even less resources. I may give it a try just to see and then try LTSB R1 as you mentioned.

And about Enterprise S? Is this the same as LTSB R1?

Enterprise S = LTSB in the new situation

Just wondering if that was a possible "upgrade" to LTSB - I'm a noob on Win 10 matters.

    Yes you can.

But you can't do any in place upgrade from a newer build to an older one.

They should in my opinion not releasy any new version of the LTSB in the next 3 Years. For me they would lose credibility for the name Long Term but what the heck I'm just one guy and they are an big money wanting more compagny :D

The fact that no test builds are being leaked should indicate that a new release is not in any way imminent.

They should, windows 10 10240 is like Windows 7 SP0 in GUI department
Also server 2016 should be release very soon, so its reflect very stable release
    GO GO GO MS elders

however LTSB already ready, ms works on metro bugs mostly, not relevant to LTSB
