Terrible bookmarks scrolling experience. If you have tons of bookmarks in a folders(which I have plenty) it's a freaking pain in the ass trying to scroll down to the link(s) that you want because the scrolling is so f**king slow. Another worst thing is that it doesn't remember where you left off where you scroll down to like it does in Firefox and you have to start scrolling from top to bottom all over again to get to another bookmark link that you want. Damn annoying. Another annoying crap is the Ctrl-F for search. Totally retarded that you have to hit Ctrl-F again and again if you open a new browser. This is what keeping me from using Chrome. Firefox all the way.
Wow you never use Firefox before. Go try what I just type out the problem that is with Chrome and come back and we will talk. Fcuking hate Chrome fanboys. I'm no fanboy I just use what's best.
I ran into a weird situation when I had to reinstall Chrome for a local user on a Server 2K8 box. I am the admin and I don't want Chrome in any admin registry. This was how it was until recently, what was changed to prevent this configuration? I want to be able to install Chrome only on a local user without it being in the admin appdata. Why isn't this doable, what is the technical explanation?
Google is not worthy. I can not let them get that far into my pocket. I can respect that thay want more; But I won't let them get anymore of my life.
jayblok What's the security like on the portable version of Chrome? Why does Windows give an ominous warning about this file when you try to install it?
Security? you mean online banking? can you post a picture of the warning? i never experience this with installed portable apps on my usb key
no video downloader, no easy view and save page media like ff. then you look at what google have done with their android apps and they strip out even more.
