That question really cannot be answered as it depends on a whole slew of scenarios. But I had my Galaxy S4 for two years and now my friend has it, still no issues. Only a few replacement batteries along the way. Purchase yourself a Nokia 3310 and you won't ever have to ask this question
Had my S5 since January, no issues Brother had his S4 for years and years, no issues S3 in the family for even longer, no issues S2 also in the family, still going, but the screen has gone blueish colour and has lines on it They seem to last fine
The question is too vague to be really relevant. It depends a lot on many factors such as the generation of the phone (an older one will probably get obsolete sooner), the position in the range (low cost usually cheaper in all senses), the type of use (mostly at the office, in the field, etc.), and the user itself (cautious one?).
I'm using Samsung since the S3 and it fell many times with no real issue. So, one year or two it'd be the my guess. And if you handle properly it may last even more.
I had to replace the USB connectors on 2 S3's. Inside pins broke. What a PIA. Lucky I have access to microscope, modern SMT rework station and heat gun. The biggest turn off for me is all the Samsung crapware they force you to use.
Every phone, brand, model... I've had. ALL problems were due to me. Dropping/breaking/slipping/toddler etc.
All you have to do is to visit the site of the brand you prefer and search for that specific model. There you can find all the details you need about the features of that phone. Just check out two or more brands and compare features and prices, it would help you select the best phone within your budget.
Using your phone also samsung.thay it was pretty easy to use. also for reliability, it must by its owner again.
