hey everyone, looking for recommendations. What laptop to buy for school? It has to be light, portable, work well and not cost a fortune.
it really depends on the features you need it to do. Light, portable, work well and not cost much are pretty basic. You could get something really simple such as a Lenovo IdeaPad 100s for a hundred or two hundred dollars, but that is the lowest-end of simple and light. Better than a Chromebook, but not the wonder computer. Alternatively you could find a secondhand store and pick up a nice business laptop or similar for a low price. (I got my ThinkPad W540 at a second-hand store for $180. My main gaming desktop for less!) I'd suggest looking at brands you like and comparing their features, or going onto Google and looking at Netbooks or similar.
