is there is an option to run "Windows Hotfix Downloader" with proxy settings, or make it to fine the right internet connection? thank you for reply
Is a bug in completed download list for (delete additional updates), not worthy of an update just yet tho.. Thanks to Humphrey As long as you know..
Not sure what to classify this as, cosmetic? The version check when looking for APP updates says the version you sent me, newer that what is out, is outdated. Example: I have 2.2.* Whats available here is 2.1.* When update check, says newer versions is out. Not like everyone is going to have this problem though seeing how there is a chance I am only one getting test builds but hey, who knows. ----- Not sure what other features you're planning on but I would think a speed limiter would be handy for those people (Like me, I only get 180 KBps) that have slow download speeds for I like to watch online videos and play games while trying to get things done in the background that also require internet connection.
Hi bro @ 1st many many thx for this tool...... M facing a very weird problem after updating my windows 8 (With media center activated by kj activator). The problem is when i log on-sign in on my account it's show only a black screen...after restarting 10-20 time it get back to normal!!! Do u know what's the problem and how to get ride of it?? Thx.
Thanks for this nice, little application. I do, however, have one question tho. Is it possible, somehow, to determine, out of all those hotfixes, which ones are really needed? That list is kinda confusing since it shows hotfixes for pre-SP1 as well as post-SP1. Some of them are obviously not needed (like pre-SP1 ones and some others, like Polish and French updates for people who do not speak those languages). Would anything bad happen if someone, with up to date running Windows just install all the listed patches (without those few, above mentioned hotfixes)?
Well as far as anything bad happening, no I do not think so because I installed all the updates which took a few hours but it ran like it should afterwords. Just because you do not speak those languages doesn't mean the updates are not needed- other people besides you use this app as well! (And of course you wouldn't install the updates for the other languages if you do not speak said language. )
Thanks for the answer. I'll install all the updates then. That's what i said. Thanks for stating the obvious, i guess. Cheers.
It would be a waist of time to do them ALL. You should sort thru them to find the ones you actually need and then install those.
Both ISO and installation folder. EDIT: Well bam select ISO would be nice and easy but editions inside install.wim... No I think select ISO and extraction then select editions from install.wim is good..
Ive yet to expiremnt with slipping updates in offline other that the WOOT app of yours. I will google it but real quick, couldn't updates me slipped into each edition that is inside the install.wim?
