Tried that, didnt help. Then I tried to download just one hotfix, and seen that whd created a Windows8.1-Update3-x64 folder, while when I previously downloaded the same thing with the post u3 update list, and it created a Windows8.1-x64 folder. So that was the reason, sorry, should have tried to download first. Cheers
Windows7-x64 appears to pull in 0kb sized files for the following KB numbers: 2465285, 2584475, and 2780124. Checked against the 12/26 x64 list update. No idea if also valid for x86 list.
You know this is just an Office updates, not some nuclear matter the date difference is because we use the MSP files dates, which is always earlier than publish date of the update the updates difference is because we use hotfixes that replaces public updates whereas WU only offer public updates, but it acknowledge the hotfixes and don't offer old updates remember, this project called Windows Hotfix Downloader, meaning it will offer newest applicable hotfixes you could saved yourself all this trouble by just installing WHDownloader updates and then check WU to see if any other updates are offered (which will be none)
Initially, no. Realized the router had it blacklisted (adblocking), so that appears to be fixed. Edit: And that did the trick.
this 400 updates is almost 1.30GB i mean when i make clean installation win 7 ask only 180-200 update's that is weird download 400 updates and only the half be significant
This is a Hotfix project, not a mirror to whatever WU offer (which other projects thankfully provide) take it or leave it
i have alot drivers in .7zip i want extract them and intergrate them in one OS but i see 3 folders win 7 win all and win vista is nessesary intergrate all folder's ??
These patches are missing: (Windows8.1-Update3) I was using the latest image, SHA1: A8B5DF0B0816280AE18017BC4B119C77B6C6EB79 Version: Pro (English) Enabled: NetFramework3, nothing else Displayed in the Windows Update GUI: KB2967917 KB2919355 SilverLight: KB2977218 Optional: KB3000850 To download: 1.5GB ---> !!! OMG !!! ------------------------------------------------------- Should KB3000850 and KB2919355 be there? WTF... thoughts? Is the KB3000850 really in the latest ISO image?
Did you added any languages? RSAT? enabled any features like IIS? yes, all the three are integrated KB2919355 represents 6 updates
Dear Abbodi! 1) For WHD (Updates\Windows7-x64) I found two public updates in "Hotfix" folder: KB2546868 and KB2578214. IMHO: should be moved to "General" 2) In "General" folder I found eight hotfixes: KB2461631 KB2760730 KB2973474 KB2978795 KB2984930 KB2990941 KB3000406 KB3005788 IMHO: should be moved to "Hotfix" 3) Some updates are only for Server (not for the client): -In "General" folder: KB2487292, KB2852386-v2. -In "Security" folder: KB2525835, KB2643719, KB2923392, KB3018238. 4) KB2809215 in "General" folder is part of KB2823180 (WMF3.0) 5) KB2949927 in "Security" folder revoked by Microsoft. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) 2) The updates are categorized by there "Release Type", not by release source (through Download Center or Hotfix System) except a few updates for specific reason 3) Yes, those updates are targeted for Server, but are applicable for Client edition 4) It's still a regular applicable update, whether you installed WMF or not 5) I know, but withdrawn updates don't usually get withdrawn from WHD
No Languages. I enabled NetFramework 3. Nothing else. Why are those patches listed in the Windows Update GUI ?
is there anything like this for windows xp / embedded pos 2009 as i've got a list of updates i want to download and keep on file.
