WHDownloader - Support and chat

My bad I made some confusion.
I came to the forums from a Google search looking for WUD then I arrived here which is the WHDownloader.
But if this tool can do the same job, then I would like to know more about it though going through 200+ pages will take time, so there is a chance to see an updated post on the first page of this thread?

I believe they are not ALL OLD or Superseded... And there are only a few which are not able to integrate Offline.
How do I know which are Superseded? Also, got few from 2016 (Like KB3184143 or KB3181988 - I wanted to post their WinCatalog Reference, but I can't, because of my posting Count. Sorry).

It don't know if there's any way to make a list of which Updates are shown by WU for Update, so I'll start making a list manually (If there's any way, feel free to share your knowledge )
Ps.: Number of Updates Shown : 55 Importants, 2 Optionals.

I mean, MY list of Updates needed. Yours it pretty much accurate. (GJ btw, that for the updated List)

P.S.: Just resolve my manual problem. Got a Script working for me. Already got my pending Updates, now I need to know if they are Superseded or not... I'll download all 610 Updates again, and hope for WHDownloader to tell me which are Superseded.

Is that the Easiest way?

Well... I'll try to Integrate this Updates, then... and Keep trying till there are none left.

Btw, What do you believe or know it's better:

• Install all Updates and then Block/Remove Telemetry

• Avoid installing Telemetry Updates

The only update that can be avoided is KB2952664

Monthly Rollup already contain the other telemetry components

blocking was and still the better option

 

hi i am confused about something

for example: there are million updates for win7 that in whdownloader. but nearly half of them is old and shouldn't be installed? same as other products. can someone clean them from the lists?

the lists should contain all updates with the old unnecessary ones deleted? am i wrong? there are multiple win10 cumilative updates there are old updates of win7

 

The lists let people decide for themselves what they think the need to integrate/install. If you want preconfigured win 7 updates, use the simplix pack.

 

Just managed to Update my ISO. There where a Few Updates that where not listed by WHDownloader, I'll try to let you know which of them are not listed.

Others are just not posible to integrate.

I finally got my ISO updated, Not it's time to modify it!! ^^

 

I am having an issue when I try and request WHDownloader to download the update lists: An exception occurred during a WebClient request.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. WHDownloader does not like running from a redirected folder.

Hey guys,i was reading the WHD-W8.1 updates installer read me text file and i was wondering if the scripts automatically integrates NET 3.5 in an offline image or it needs user input , I personally don't want to integrate NET 3.5,so can i avoid the integration?
