You can export the list to XML (the diskettte icon right of the list drop down). Search for Security and check the descriptions.

zmeul86: Look in the "WHD-W7UI-ReadMe.txt" file for info on running it.

It needs to be run from the folder that contains the "Updates" folder, which is normally the same folder that contains "WHDownloader.exe".

it seems to be very easy but i don't find any Updates folder. I created it manually, but no chance.

    I unzipped "WHDownloader_0.0.2.2.zip" here:
    C:\Users\ion\Desktop\Downloads\WHDownloader 0.0.2.2

In "WHDownloader 0.0.2.2" folder i added "WHD-W7UI.cmd" next to "WHDownloader.exe"
    and created manually "Updates" folder.

    C:\Users\ion\Desktop\Downloads\WHDownloader 0.0.2.2\WHDownloader_0.0.2.2\Updates

    Run as administrator "WHD-W7UI.cmd"

    It appears at point no.
    2. WHD Repository:
    "C:\Users\ion\Desktop\Downloads\WHDownloader 0.0.2.2\WHDownloader_0.0.2.2\Updates"

    Press 0 to start
and it appears the ERROR: Selected repository location is not valid
    Press any key to continue

You forgot to run WHD and download the updates, before you run the Update integration script.

So, KB3064209 causes issues for current system W7/W8.1, or just prevent upgrade to W10?

I'm not positive, but it seems that if that update gets installed, it will prevent successful booting of the OS (7+). Windows 10 has that update built-in, so people can't upgrade to W10 either. It *does* seem that most manuf's released updated BIOS that fixes the issue, but still, people should be wary.

Thank you again for this awesome helpful resouce!

    Hi,

I'm having problems getting the latest updates list. I click the download option and it appears to download, but I just get the message "No Updates List Added" and the folder is empty.

Any ideas how to resolve? Is there anywhere I can download the update list and add to the folder manually?

    Thank you!

    ***UPDATE***

I've just tried on another PC and it's working fine, so it could just be my computer blocking something...

You only can avoid "Additional\Windows10" updates

however, Monthly Quality Rollup contain some telemetry components
    read MonthlyQualityRollup-Notice.txt

ok I read the MonthlyQualityRollup-Notice I guess won't install Monthly Quality Rollup updates for now but I'm using windows 8.1 embedded with update 3

    baseline
    general
    hotfix
security avoid MonthlyQualityRollup update? might installl later
    Additional
    extra

which ones are really needed? I just want security and hotfix are hotfix even necessary? I know I need baseline general updates don't know if I need those?
