Download speed is so slow (300~500 Kbit/s)!.. I'm almost downloading about 6 MByte/s from 'Microsoft Update Catalog' with other applications over my 50 Mbit/s internet.
@abbodi1406... Please reconsider keeping the WHDownload list updated for those MDL users who use 14393 (LTSB 2016)... CU's / SS's / Flash / .Net updates will continue to be released for 14393 (LTSB/C 2016)... I for one, have no intention of switching to any of the Windows 10 2019 editions... LTSB/C 2016 is reliable, not BLOATED and works extremely well and will be supported by M$ until Oct 2026... Per @abbodi1406 Note: updates for 14393 & 15063 will be removed from WHDownload list next month but will be still available as manual links
I downloaded all the Windows8.1-x64 updates and integrated with WHD-W8.1UI_4.7. After install, these are still showing as missing. Any ideas why? Some are quite old...
Also with Windows7-x64 and WHD-W7UI_4.8. Without KB3125574 was 59 important updates, 543.2MB, and including it was missing 36 important updates, 426MB.
Did you set W81UI to also install "windows 10" updates? Like this (default): Code: :: updates to process by default set LDRbranch=ON set Hotfix=ON set WUSatisfy=ON set WMF=OFF set Windows10=OFF set win10u=ON set RSAT=OFF set onlinelimit=75 Including the "windows 10" updates: Code: : updates to process by default set LDRbranch=ON set Hotfix=ON set WUSatisfy=ON set WMF=OFF set Windows10=ON set win10u=ON set RSAT=OFF set onlinelimit=75
It will be more like the leftover updates should not appear, because they are superseded, but msft didn't fix it and WU still needs them to be satisfied.
Any suggestions on how to fix that with slipstreaming without requiring such incredible internet bandwidth post-install?
I am running a test now. Any scenario would require to download and integrated/install them for WU satisfaction (or block WU and take care of the servicing, manually).
What did you different than me I wonder? I had everything checked and used Windows8.1-x64 in WHDownloader. Maybe I should have used Windows8.1-Update3-x64?
I tried using KUC on my Windows 7 install (updated with WHD-W7UI_4.8). It needed to remove 400 something updates, but could only do 75 at a time, even when the box was unchecked or the number was raised to it's max of 125, and it took a reboot and re-running KUC each time, so it was daunting just to remove them all. Then there were 45 to install. When all was said and done, the list in Windows Update grew even larger to 113 important updates at 709MB. This is going backwards... LOL!
When the source iso, on which you ran the script, is an update 3 iso, you should use the 8.1update3 downloads in WHD.
