Too true, and unlike some sports (I won't mention which ones) it's very team based, not just on one or two players. It's true a team can only be as good as it's players, but it's also true a team is only as good as how well they perform together as a team.
thanx for your hardwork alphawaves question, are u still working on windows download integrator? if yes, any sign of release?
Al, for Win8 updates cleanup you could add /resetbase option if you think its a good idea (this makes the updates permanent by removing the superseded updates in winsxs and also the old backup)
First I want to thanks to Alphawaves for this usefull soft. Great job! Few questions: I understand that old files removed from McRip server are keept, but you have plans to make downloading updates process to perfectly sync with the server, something like rsync protocol. It's that right ? It's no big deal to consult the changelog and manually remove superseeded/removed files but I observed that changelog file once downloaded it's not downloaded again from the server - I mean old version it's kept and end of story. It is my mistake, bad settings ? Changelog file it's not vital so no big deal, but what about Office updates where the filename remain the same during updates but content is modified ? I don't know for sure if this is the expected behaviour or I'm doing something wrong, so please excuse me for beeing so noob Any advice/good practice list is most welcomed. Thank you!
Great tool already becomes even better. I just wanted to ask one thing. I downloaded Office 2010 and 2013 updates in Sep 2013. As you know, patch tuesday is coming. So do I need to download the whole thing again and just see the dates (perhaps end Sep onwards) and overwrite the old ones. Regards
