The versions with the asterisks already have what you are trying to integrate (KB2883200) slipstreamed into them.
It's not just that one update, I'm trying to integrate all ~80-100 or so hotfixes/updates, are you saying that the * ISOs already have all that? Basically I'm just trying to make a Win 8.1 ISO and integrate all the updates I've downloaded with this tool, so that they're integrated and installed when I install the ISO fresh. I've got a legit Win8 OEM key, so I need to install using a generic key, and then use my legit key once installed (have this done once already with a stock ISO, works fine), and also have a Win8 Pro legit upgrade key. Thanks again.
I have a few questions, 1. Where is the download link? 2. Is it portable? 3. Can this be use to manually install .msu updates from Windows Update Downloader?
Okay, let me ask my question a bit differently. Does this program support Windows 8 or does it only support 8.1? Thank you.
Yes indeed that is what it says. But it is not what it does. On the latest version that I have (BETA 4.5) Windows 8 is not listed in the "Download Lists" dropdown. What do you have to say to that smarta$$?
Wasn't trying to be a smartass and now I refuse to help. I was going to give you an alternative option but not now. Good luck and have a wonderful day.
Is there anyway for WHD to be able to check the file size of the downloads and compare it to what's on the list to make sure there is no corrupt downloads? Also the search function doesn't seem to work.
Already suggested, md5 or some type checksum added to the xml to verify file integrity and to make sure you have the correct version of the hotfix
Sorry ive not yet uploaded the new version, ive had a really busy christmas. We are currently looking at rickendo64's MD5 addition, the search function is working ok as long as the update your searching for is in the list (it will be highlighted and focused). Will update asap, just testing new integrator..
