Can add feature select multiple office updates (msp files) to install like windows updates? Thanks Alphawaves for the useful program.
Error Office updates offline integration Hi there, Best wishes to all. Thanks a lot for this excellent tool, lots of features in it. However, I have an issue with the integration of the updates for Office 2013 x64. - I use this ISO: SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2013_64Bit_English_MLF_X18-55297 - I downloaded all the updates from Windows Hotfix Downloader (80 files) - I integrated all of them because I don't know whethere or not I should put all of them. nb: if someone knows how to integrate visio in this iso along with updates, I'm all ears. - I created the ISO and tried installed it. - During installation, finalizing process, I get the following error: View attachment 26308 The installation keeps going afterwards for a while. - Every Office applications seem to work fine. - By looking at the Event viewer, it seems that this update did not install properly This update is not offered online by windows update - However I have these updates offered: KB2827238, KB2726954, KB2827227, KB2817495 I'm guessing we can't integrate them offline. Thanks a lot for your feedback. Flo
Well i just use 2 passes. Seems to work. Its not possible to get everything right on the first pass anyway. For example on first pass prerequisites are integrated and on 2nd pass the updates themselves are integrated for wich those prerequisites apply. With the exeption of the not integrateable updates and WMF 4.0 that requires .NET 4.5 in windows image (sysprepped).
Hi, every time I open WHD (Version 4.8 and 4.9), I get an .NET Error: View attachment 26315 Unsupported... I tested Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 Same error Any idea?
Hi alphawaves Many thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what you want to do, but cheers for a fix +1 for ricktendo64 suggestion.
alpha, just a suggestion, in burfadel script, there's offline superseeded check, which u can choose the directory path where u put all ur update packages (cab or msu), can u add that too? What I do see in the newest version of whd, it only check the xml list? (please correct me if I'm wrong)
You need to turn on .net framework from control panel\programs and features\turn on or off program features\ then scroll to you find the .net framework and put a check in the box to enable it. I had to enable .net framework 3.5 (2.0 and 3.0) on my win 8.1 system in order to install some apps. You must have internet connection for the .net framework 3.5 by the way. Looks like your frameworks got turned off for some reason. View attachment 26325
Yes, in order for it to get updates for that set of .net frameworks. It will tell you to connect in order to finish the install or turning on of .net framework 3.5. Even if you try to install .net framework 3.5 from offline standalone installer from Micro$ it will still require internet connection to finish (update) the installation on win 8.1. Tito, in order for me to install my web cam software which requires .net framework 3.5 I had to enable it and also connect to the net for it to finish installing. Not trying to argue with you but Yes it did require me to go online in order to finish enabling .net framework 3.5. Windows will tell you this when enabling or turning on .net framework 3.5. I know you can use that aio installer for .net framework 3.5 for x64 and x86 but I didn't have that tool at the time I installed win 8.1 but thanks for sharing. I had to go online anyways so it didn't matter.
