I've downloaded the V5.3(BETA). When i'm adding the newest Windows8.1 x86 updates list, the program suddently not responding and it close by itself. I'm never have this kind of problems in the older version. Is there someone who also got the same problem just like i did?

 

The only thing that's missing in whd no is task pane similar to one in windows 8/office. This drop down menu is getting bigger and bigger

Can't get it to work.
It says I don't have enough memory.
I have 4gb memory, win7x64 and 133gb free space on HD.
What do I do wrong?

only Office 2013? is there old version for 2010?

 

Can someone please explain what is the advantage od using this kind of software? Why just not use classical windows update?

 

maybe make own installation and when you next time must reinstall system or office, dont need to waste time for waiting to download and update system? or for people who frequently install new systems for same reason: saving time...

 

Is your Temp Directory on the partition with that amount of free space?

If you often install Windows or if you are responsible for multiple computers, you do not have to download the updates for every installation because this software gives you an offlie repository of updates. You can integrate these offline updates into your installation medium, too. In this case, both download and installation of the updates are already done and much more up-to-date than the original installation medium.

Thank you very much for this software, it is working well
I have some cosmetical suggestions: Redo the order in the Options-dropdown and use more submenus for linked tasks. You could also add a counter or sign to the caption of the update category for a quicker view if the repo is complete. Listing missing updates at the top of the category would be nice too.

 

Guys,how do i actually download office updates with this? (Sorry for the noob question,but i couldn't find this answered in the first post)

But here's the real question;If i update Office 2013(activated by Cody's Toolkit)will it get some "false key" thingammabob,or is it safe?

 

My d: where WindowsHotfixDownloader is has 133gb free
c: where Temp is has 93gb free space
Does it need something that I haven't installed perhaps?

 

Click on Download Lists button, select from the drop down list what you need, wait for prompt, click OK.

Next on the right of Download Lists button is a dropdown Select Updates click and select the list you want.

The Download buton is activated after the list is populated. Select all (or what you need) from the categories and hit Download.

Wait for finish.

 

Found a Bug: when you select all for each and all items are ticked, if you click on the drop down to reload the list your wanting to dl the select all options are stuck on deselect

Request for Additional options on that right click menu or button instead:

Select All - Selects All files in list
Select Missing - Selects All Non-Green Files in list




Also what happen to the pause/resume was it removed?
If so does that mean a minimise to tray option will be available?

Also does this now md5 check/verify the files it downloads or is that still being implemented?

 

What method / tool do you use to integrate these updates? RT seven lite seems to be the only standalone program and iit's site has been down for many months and the tutorial (from sevenforums) is quite dated.

That's one of the things i was looking at, maybe make it a bit easier for newbies by splitting the options into something like:

"Windows Tools/ Office Tools/ Other Tools/ Options"

 

Where do I get the Vista x64 list?

 

While trying to download HotFix update Windows8.1-KB2900635-x64 it downloads the x86 version for some reason. Using WHD 5.4. And yes, after closing the app and opening again just like magic it disapears
