Well .EXE's are used when installing online, but .MSP's the way for integration although you can select .EXE's and WHD will extract the .MSP.. Im talking about using WHD..
Thats a good idea, use dism to get a list of online 3rd party drivers and use that list to copy the folders from the driverstore Registry location (if you decide to use this instead) is HKLM\SYSTEM\DriverDatabase, maybe you can get the oem drivers by looking in DriverPackages subkey and filter out the ones with OemPath or oem*.inf value/data
Hi Alpawaves. I just tried integrating updates for Win7 64bit SP1 & found that when I have multiple indexes tagged only the 1st tagged index is completed. I had Home Premium, Pro & Ultimate ticked for integration... Thanks buddy!
Alphawaves, what do you think about integrating language packs in office instalation kit ? Also I have some sugestions : - in office integration tab can you add filter language when is selected the .exe files for integration - in .msu to .cab converter can you add folder/subfolder selection -when you are asked for selection .iso or folder, can you change ''.iso'' to ''image'' and add suport for more image formats- for example .img - which is use by Microsoft itself I had done some testing for some time now, and I found a bug in the logic of Windows integrator (tested only with Windows 8.1 x64 , retail, English version, no updates or rollups included). When a user (like myself !) want to integrate updates and a language pack in a Windows instalation kit, the integrator first integrate the updates and then the language pack---this is wrong because some updates has included within updates for the language pack, which are not integrated (tested several times) . The correct integration is to integrate language pack first (if is one), and then all the updates- in this way all the updates are integrated corecly and at the first boot of a freshly installed Windows, you don't have to reinstall some updates you alredy integrated (via Windows update). So, Alphawaves can you check this and solve this problem ?
This may have been covered in a prior post - or - I may have overlooked it, but... Could you please add a PROXY settings option? I use this tool at home often in my lab and love it! I try to use it at work where we only have a proxy (which requires authentication) but it doesn't work as it says it requires authentication which I cannot find a way to enter. Thanks for your hard work!
Hi Bluescreen : I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution? Is it a setting I need to change?
Ive been remaking the GUI, downloaded updates will now be shown in a seperate list and removed from main list along with superseded..
