Yeh its better to put them in an old/superseded folder instead of auto deleting them, i might give option either way.
Thanks a lot ! This option will be very useful, so we can be up to date without re-downloading 500+ updates
Alphawaves, when I attempted to use WHD 5.9 to install the (34) Office 2010-x86 M$ .exe updates that were downloaded and saved inside the WHD/Updates/Office 2010-x86 folder on a FRESH installation of Office 2010-x86 Home & Student RETAIL with SP2 (Slipstreamed) and no other M$ updates installed I get the following WHD message: Updates check = "The following updates were not compatible and have been removed from updates list"... This list included ALL 34 of the previously downloaded updates... Apparently I am doing something wrong... OBTW, when I verified this with Windows / M$ Update, it reported that SP2 was installed but no others for Office 2010-x86 and there were at least 20 updates were needed...
Also, since that didn't function as I had expected, I tried Integrating the (40) Office 2010-x86 .msp's that were extracted from the (34) .exe's into an Office 2010-x86 Home & Student RETAIL with SP2 (Slipstreamed) package... That appeared to function properly, but after I installed this Integrated Office 2010 package on a FRESH installation of Windows 8.1-x64 ProWMC I discovered that only a few of the Office M$ Updates were actually installed and SP2 was MISSING... I can only conclude that somehow one or more of these (40) .msp's prevented SP2 from installing... I have verified that when installing this Office 2010 package with SP2 (Slipstreamed) but without these (40) .msp's, that SP2 is installed as it should be...
GUI looking good Alphawaves. Alphawaves one quick question if you don't mind. I tried to uninstall an update with WHD but after reboot the update is there again. Is this a bug in WHD? Regards cgp
Small sorting issue with Drivers Backup Beta 0.1. the "Date" column sorts by the first number, in my case since I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 English, it is the Month not the year. I forgot the first time around to thank you for all the work you have already done! Thank you.
Hi Alphawaves, I want to report a cosmic bug in WHD v5.9. When I want to add multiple languages in one time, for integration, the first selected language will be showed in all added languages. Example: when I add German, French and Russian in one time, only German (de-DE) will be displayed at all languages. P.S. Adding multiple languages piece by piece, isn't possible.
@Alphawaves: thank you very much, all fixed except "class not registered" error when selecting: Visit Windows Hotfix Threads --> Windows X other than that very nice update
