Am I doing something wrong: 1. "Integrate" is not working with Win81Pro, but "Install" works flawlessly? 2. WHD doesn’t recognize Lite-ed Win7Ult? Any suggestions?
1. WHD went through all processing of "Integrate" but none of 19 updates are actually integrated. View attachment 27080 2. WHD normally extract ISO in folder, but don't recognizes install.wim!? View attachment 27081
@abbodi1406 As an example of what I mean while writing the total file size is "wrong" I show the result of downloading Office 2010x86-Updates. After downloading all updates View attachment 27083 it shows to download 35 files with a total of 59.31 GB and it shows downloaded 34 files with a total of 601.85 MB. I think this results from my language selection de-de (the downloader seemingly shows the size for all languages)
As the header says 'Select installation folder'.. Its asking you to select your installation folder (not install.wim) which in your case would be ISO folder..
2. After extracting ISO, WHD automatically selects "ISO" folder, but because Win7Ult is heavily Lite-ed, there is not "setup.exe" file in "ISO" folder and WHD doesn’t recognize "install.wim". I solved the problem by formally adding "setup.exe" file and WHD accepts "install.wim". 1. Could you comment WHD inability to integrate updates in Win81Pro without any error message!?
Hi, i cant find any problem with the integrator. I use it all the time.. Can you let me know your architecture and the 19 updates so i can try to replicate the problem..
1. WHD installs all 19 updates correctly but is not willing to integrate them. 2. I have tested "Integrate" function on my Win7Ult and found out that it also is not working. On top of that, it disregarded two updates (KB2909210 & KB2909921) which I normally integrate with other integrator, with comment: The Build Version does not match. When I try "Create ISO" the answer is: Creating of ISO was canceled! 3. Most probably WHD is not working correctly on Lite-ed systems. When i have more time I will test it more thoroughly. Thank you very much for your attention and great tool.
@ Alphawaves: 1. Are there plans to add ability to remove superseded updates from Online windows? I mean it checks and deletes superseded update installers from disk (if downloaded), but not from windows itself. Yes there is the disk cleanup option but i think everyone agrees that this only removes a small number of superseded updates. Rest will still remain and bloat windows. You obviously already know what updates are superseded and adding an option to remove them from online image via DISM should not be too hard. 2. Installing updates to online image is EXTREMELY slow. I chose LDR/From Directory. It took over and hour to install 28 updates. In comparsion when using burfadels v28 installer i can install over 400 in the same time because it's much faster. Not sure why it was so slow. Was it because of LDR or because i chose an entire directory (with subdirectories) i really dont know. WHD 6.4 Windows 7 x64 SP1
AIO's with x86 & x64 combined, currently unsupported. What I do, I let them separated, when I've all updates integrated, then make a combined ISO/USB-Stick.
@Alphawaves… I believe it would be very useful to Hi-Lite (yellow or some other color) ALL “installed” Updates that are located inside the WHD Download folders so that when using the WHD Windows (*.MSU / *.CAB) or Office (*.EXE) Updaters it would be obvious which Updates are needed vs which ones have already been installed?
