Question: I already have most of the updates installed on my system. I then downloaded with WHD. WHD can see what I already have on my system. However is there a way that it can compare whats on my system and apply the ones I dont have from my downloaded (general, hotfix, security) updates ? When I go to apply the updates using WHD, it tells me that I already have "x" updates (417 listed) installed already and I should remove them from the list. However that is a LOT of manual removals. Is there a trick to doing this ? TY
Newbie question Hello team, fist of all, I just want to thank you for this wonderful app.......really, really thanks for it Second, I would like to do a question if´s possible......I´m new here and it´s a 106 pages thread, so.......here is my issue, maybe someone could assist me with that. I have the windows 7 SP1 x64 image on my hdd and I just downloaded all the latest patches using your tool........I also made the WHD app to gather all the drivers from my actual windows installation and I integrate the drivers and the patches to the image.........the problem is, I have to save it a thumbdrive bc the final size is 4.78gb........in fact, I prefer to do that, bc the speed of the thumbdrive is 10x faster than the dvd drive......anyways, the problem is, when I try to install windows using the new image, it decompress the WIM file ok, restart the computer, and when its ready to do the final configuration it shows me an error msg stating that some device could not be installed, driver missing and I had to end the installation there........ If I save the original windows ISO file to the thumbdrive, it works perfectly fine, I could install windows perfectly fine, so, the problem is only with the new image created with WHD. My configuration is the following: i7 cpu, asus z68 mb with a realtek network adapter (pretty standard), 16Gb ram, gtx670 and a 3 years old mushkin SSD. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Alx
I have installed office 2013 without any update and then I installed SP1. Is there any way to tell WHD to download updates after SP1? I thinks previous updates must be included in SP1 (The Pc that I have installed office and SP1 did not have internet connection to test for new updates)
WRONG place! This thread is about windows 8 not windows 7. Lievre use the search engine to get ride of some folder in your windows installation.
I´m doing my questions on the app thread. I think they belong here......I´m sorry if I´m wrong. Please, could someone put me on the right direction? Thanks in advance. Alx
It has only been 24hrs since sp1 came out, give the devs some time to sort out the files and update the lists
kb2850036 is not update, it's placeholder KB for all SP1 products and it should not be showing in WU if you installed the appropiate SP1 update file what office products are actualy installed on your system?
