Thanks Mr.X... My Instructions.txt file must be OUTDATED because it shows KB2969339 (Superseded) and NOT KB2975061...
I DELETED my Baseline Instructions.txt file and InstructionsRTM.txt file and Re-Downloaded them with WHDownloader v0.9, NOW they reflect the correct information... Apparently, BOTH of these .txt files NEED to be DELETED then Re-Downloaded each time there is a NEW Windows 8.1-x86/64.wh Update LIST available so as to be sure we have CORRECT Baseline installation info... Would be nice if WHDownloader could MOVE any OUTDATED / SUPERSEDED .txt files to the appropriate OLD Folder...
Exactly what I thought. Besides it's better to use an Update1 iso because you save a lot of time in an offline integration, mainly if you are crafting an AIO with many indexes...
Well, those text files are rarely updated i will post an annoucement (or change there names a little bit) if they changed in the future
Hi everyone. I've been having a look and i can't see any option to input any proxy details. Or is it set to use system proxy details? I'm fairly certain i'm opening the correct version Cheers Stu
Question regarding KB2934018 I used MSMG ToolKit 1.09 to Integrate the following Baseline Updates to a CLEAN “en_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_4065090” extracted folder… - These Baseline KB's were Integrated individually one at a time in the following order: 1. KB2975061 2. KB2966870 3. KB2959977 4. KB2934018 I did not Integrate any other WHDownloader “Windows8.1-x64.wh” Updates for TESTing purposes… I installed this "Baseline ONLY" ISO / DVD to a TEST PC with MS Auto Updates disabled… After installation, I checked Windows Update for “Installed Updates” and discovered that KB2934018 is MISSING… So, my question is WHY is KB2934018 MISSING?
Right click bottom of app for context menu, Select Proxy Settings. MMIKEE I only use windows 7, best to ask an 8.1 user..
It's not missing, it's hidden KB2934018 has a package type "Feature Pack", and updates that have this type will not be shown in “Installed Updates” you can verify it using DISM tool: Code: dism /online /Get-Packages btw, this also applies to the rest of Update 1 supplementary updates (KB2932046, KB2937592, KB2938439)
What are the cases? I downloaded and used Win Toolkit for integrating updates into Windows 8.1 Pro VLK and for some reason it decided to separately place/use KB2959146 as a silent installing update instead of applying with the rest of the updates. Is that how it is supposed to be?
abbodi1406 has removed KB2959146 from the repo list (see his change log link above), so that one shouldn't be integrated.
Strange thing happen with Windows6.1-KB2967567-x86.msu It errored out at integration with Win Toolkit so I started investigating... It happens with WHDownloader and not with Alphawaves' Downloader from Win Toolkit! Even if I delete it and redownload it always arrives as Windows6.1-KB2967567-x86.msu wrapped in Windows6.1-KB2967567-x86.msu The size show the difference of what should be and what ends up. View attachment 29932 View attachment 29933 If replaced with the extracted one, the Downloader list is clear. Anyone have this issue?
Just checked, its an issue in the update list. Its not set for extraction when it should be. Ill contact abbodi.. Thanks for reporting ianymaty
