Is there any way to get WHD to preserve the download modification time stamp? Everytime something is downloaed, it always ends up with the current date/time and not the original creation date/time of the fix.
You can add a filter to avoid showing some updates. For example, do not want to list those corresponding to IE9, IE10. I also want to avoid list some updates that are "loose", for example, do not use Windows Media Center and would like to avoid to list, to avoid downloading. THX!
The old WHD had a great feature of installing updates. I guess that was removed in recent versions. Is it now back. I have been constrained to use the older version as that feature is really useful for me and the raison d etre for its very high rating for me (I usually keep updates offline so that feature is somewhat not critical to me).
Is it ok to download and isntall all updates? lot of updates are not availiable thru Windows Updates... is it safe to install?
