After some research, I learned that the Laptop will be shipped to the UK with win 8 coresinglanguage . Now I've got loads of questions. 1) so basically, I need to convert 915440.iso to coresinglelanguage-en-uk.iso ? 2) The steps would be first to apply en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.isoWin_8_x64_Dell-PRO_CSL.svf on 915440.iso to get coresinglelanguage? 3) Then follow BROT's guide to make it en-UK? Where to download en-uk-lp.cab? 4) Is this image specific to Dell at this stage? would it work for SONY? 5) Would it be possible to put existing component guides together in a logical order so that many can easily follow? Fantastic. Good to know that Activation isn't language specific. There is no need to be obsessed with en-Gb then.
Actually activation is language specific in case of Windows 8 Country Specific (China Edition) and some Server editions. But this info isn't applicable for your case.
