Where did the Select VL Edition come from?

    I read on the front page of MDL, the Select Edition is an official RTM ISO from Select Volume Licensing Channel.... but does anyone question what that really means and where the hashes come from? Are these hashes published on the Microsoft website? If not, is there a way to confirm?
