Where does windows 7 download updates too?

    Can you tell me where does windows 7 download updates too, as i would like to look at the folder and files.

    Anyone know what folder it downloads them to?

    C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

    the files with numbers some of them are .cab files, you can open them with 7zip sometimes or you could copy them to another folder and add .cab to them and open them with any archiver
