tried searching to no avail, lol, anyways I remember someone posting not long ago that there was a new group policy setting , only under education and enterprise I think, that disabled the windows update service without actually doing it yourself under services.msc anyone can shed light on this new setting? thanks
New setting? It's been there from the beginning. Run > gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update\Configure Automatic Updates = Disabled
no, not that one, someone posted they found another...ahh well...... maybe "remove access to all windows updates"....dunno.....can't find the post
